Campaign to oppose the Inlands Farm development gathers momentum

The campaign against the Inlands Farm Science Park is gathering momentum.

The SSPG action group, formed to protect the rural landscapes to the East of Swindon, continue in their quest to raise awareness of this proposed industrial estate - bringing attention to the adverse and irrecoverable impact on landscape and way of life in South Swindon.

  • Some 200 people listened to John Warr at a packed Wanborough Village Hall on 10th Jan. See separate release.
  • The SSPG facebook page already has 200 members and is growing rapidly.
  • Donations are pouing in and the SSPG funds are now over £3,800. Thanks to all who have donated and please continue to give generously. Our target is £10,000.  We need these funds to ensure we have the professional advice we need - to assess and make expertly informed objections to this proposal.
  • We have signs up Pack Hill highlighting the location of this developmen

Objections - deadline 31st January

Over 150 letters of objections have been sent into the planners at Swindon Borough Council.  We havre until 31st January to object, so please use our online form to help you.
Don’t sit back and rely on others to raise objections -  get your letters into SBC - rally friends and neighbours to do so also.

Please keep your letters factual; don’t be emotional and don’t talk about how this development will negatively impact your property value.  This is not considered a valid reason for objection under planning regulation.
